Dr. Acharya is an expert in Social Inclusion, Equity and Employment. He has an experience of more than four decades in Research and Development He has received his PhD from Cornell University, USA in Anthropology. He has done MA in Anthropology from Cornell University and MA in Economics from Tribhuvan University. He has also done MPS in International Development (Development Policy) from Cornell University, USA. He is life member of NEPAN, NRCS, member of Sociology and Anthropology Association of Nepal, President of Economics Association and President of Nepal Association of Cornell University.
Dr. Acharya is currently working as a Director of Harihar Acharya Consultancy. He has served as a Consultant for International Labor Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Decentralized Local Governance Support Program (DLGSP).
